About Us
We started 650NED because small businesses were flying blind.
Founder Annie Thompson was a corporate FD. Again and again, she saw businesses running on bookkeeper-level finance teams with no visibility, no forecasting, no board-level guidance. That’s why 650NED was built: to give ambitious SMEs the financial leadership they deserve.
However clients would often comment on the fact that she wasn’t a very good Finance Director in the traditional sense. She’s encourage them to spend money where it was needed and would end up sticking her fingers into all areas of the business, not just finance.
On top of that, she’d end up going into clients and taking over the bookkeeping workload too as often what they had in place was not fit for purpose.
So, the ‘official’ service offering (and the team) was expanded.
The entire business exists to help our clients succeed. That’s what makes us feel all pink and fluffy.
They might need help with looking at their operations, or just restructuring their finances to make them work better. Whatever it is, we’ll help make it happen (as long as the business owner also takes their actions when needed!).
Our goal and mission is to help our clients succeed and achieve their own aspirations in both business and their personal lives.

Annie has been running businesses since the age of 13. She started 650NED in 2018 after coming from corporate as a Finance Director and realising that small businesses needed that service but didn’t necessarily have the need or resource for a full time person.
She has since helped many of her clients have their successful years since starting their businesses.

David Kovacs
David is responsible for making sure all of the client work gets done to the highest standard and on time, as well as streamlining processes and automation.
He’s been in the industry for 15+ years and is sh*t hot at what he does!
Client Bookkeeper
Tasha Meline
Tasha is responsible for all things bookkeeping for the clients. She is the one that deals with the day to day queries and essentially the glue that holds things together for our clients.
